Church Point, LA:      A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date for Mondell d'Augereaux, 86.

Mondell d'Augereaux, affectionately known as Granny, passed away peacefully November 18th surrounded by her loving family. To say she was special is an understatement. Her accomplishments were many, but her nearly 6 years of marriage to "Coach" Bob McBride were some of her happiest days of her life. She was a bookkeeper at Church Point Elementary School for 371/2 years, still being loved by many of the students that came through her office.

She was always ready to go somewhere!!  She traveled the world, but her favorite adventures were her family trips to Navarre Beach. She never met a stranger and loved everyone unconditionally. Her favorite pastimes included cooking amazing meals for her family, spending time with friends and picking up branches in her yard.

She was a classy lil lady!! From her loving heart to her sunglasses and shoes. Family was foremost in her life. Everyone has someone in their family that is considered the glue...She was our Gorilla Glue. She truly lived her life to the fullest and absolutely did it her way!! She was the best Granny a family could ever ask for! We were lucky to have her! She will surely be missed by all who knew her!! Okie Dokie.

Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" McBride of Church Point; her daughters, Carla Andrus and life partner Skip Briscoe of Lafayette, LA and Amy Andrus and wife Rose Lutz and Claire Andrus-all of Church Point; her son, Andrew Andrus and wife Verna of Ocean Springs, MS; her stepchildren: Jan and Tommy Mayronne of Covington, LA, Dana and Matt Sexauer of Franklin, TN, Jill and Phillip Myers of Church Point, LA and Mike and Sandra McBride of Houston TX; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Comeaux and husband Kenneth of Crowley, LA; a brother, Allen Daugereaux of Lafayette and a sister-in-law, Dell Daugereaux of Church Point. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Amelian Savoy Daugereaux;  a son, Sidney Andrus; a grandson, Aaron Hudson; a brother and a sister, Rayo and Nadine Daugereaux; the father of her children, Martin Andrus; a sister-in-law, Anna Daugereaux and a granddaughter, Jennifer Andrus.
