Church Point, La. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chapel in Church Point, La. for Michael "Mike" Menard, 60. Mr. Menard, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Monday evening, July 6 at his residence. Deacon Bryne Winn will conduct the service. Visitation will be at the Chapel from 9:30 A.M. until the service.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Matte Menard of Church Point; two sons, Gus Francis, Jr. and wife Traci of Eunice, La. and Tromie Francis and wife Tyla of Church Point; two daughters, Brandi Matte and husband Shane and Tina Higginbotham and husband John-all of Church Point; three brothers, Eddie Menard, Jr. residing in Georgia, Marx Menard of Bristol, La. and Bobby Menard of Austin, Tex.; two sisters, Emma Jean Boudreaux and husband Frank of Lafayette, La. and Elizabeth Menard of Opelousas, La.; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Menard, Sr. and Elizabeth Higginbotham Menard and a sister, Marie Miller.
