Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Guidry Funeral Home for Michael "Pickle" Andrew Pickering, 23, who passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 12:45 PM in Church Point, LA.

Rev. Berl Adams, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Church Point, will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Msgr. C.A. Bienvenu Cemetery - Hwy 35.

Michael, a resident of Church Point, was the son of Tammy Havens Olivier and Michael Todd Pickering.
He is survived by his mother, Tammy Havens Olivier and step-father Paul Olivier of Church Point, LA; his father, Michael T. Pickering and his wife Elaine of St. Francisville, LA; his son, Brayden Michael Leger of Church Point, LA; two sisters, Laney Pickering and Brittney Olivier; his grandmothers, Trellis Havens, Shirleen Olivier and Linda Pickering and his grandfather, Lee Pickering.

He was preceded in death by one niece, Olivia Guidry and his grandfathers, Joseph Olivier and Andy Havens.

Pallbearers will be Kaliup Citizen, Julius Boudreaux, Travis Wilson, Ethan Carriere, Brad Andrus and Preston Sholar. Honorary pallbearers will be Luis Ramirez and Anthony Cooper.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and continue on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of service.
