Church Point, LA: Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church, Branch, LA for Mayjer Richard, 5 months old, who passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX.
Rev. Micah Collins, Pastor of Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral services with burial in Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Cemetery. Mayjer, a resident of Branch, LA, was the son of Jillian Richard and Brock Elliott.
He is survived by his mother, Jillian Richard and her companion Robert Thurston of Branch, LA; his father, Brock Elliott; two brothers, Owen Eckstein and Branson Borges; his maternal grandparents, Valjene "Geno" and Darlene Richard of Branch; his paternal grandmother, Donna Leger; one uncle, Jacques Richard and wife Lauren of Branch; two cousins, Jackson and Collin Richard and his maternal great grandmother, Willie Dale Navarre of Rayne, LA. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Lennis Navarre and his paternal great grandparents, Elwood and Bernadine Richard.
Truly loved, his mother requests that Mayjer be "remembered as a happy baby."
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Sunday, May 13 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the time of services.
