Church Point, LA:     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Mrs. Mary Alice Weaver, 88, who passed away at 10:46 AM Friday, August 6 at her residence. Rev. Berl Adams, Pastor of First Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral services and burial will take place in First Baptist Cemetery on Hwy 35.

Mary Alice, a resident of Church Point, was the daughter of the late William Rogers Jr. and the former Mary Lou Burleson. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Morris Weaver of Church Point; three sons, Mark Weaver and wife Billie of Church Point, David Weaver and wife Nancy of Fort Atkinson, WI and Charles 'Danny' Weaver of Church Point, LA; four grandchildren, Kyle Weaver of Fort Atkinson WI, Sarah Kline and husband Joshuah of Whitewater, WI, Heather Gaspard of Church Point and Andrew Gaspard and wife Nicki of Church Point; two great-grandchildren, Erin Gaspard and Makynlee Gaspard and two great-great-grandchildren, Emerysn Menard and Easton Guillory. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elizabeth Josephine Shadle and one brother, William F. Rogers, III. A loving mother and grandmother, she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 10, from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral services.
