Church Point, LA Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 16, 2016 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mary Maude Richard, 83, who passed away at 10:06 PM Friday, May 13 at Judy's Elderly Care in Vidor, TX.
Fr. Mark Melancon, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services and burial will take place in Msgr. C.A. Bienvenu Cemetery - Hwy 35 immediately after.

Mary, a life-long resident of Church Point, LA was the daughter of the late Elie Gautreaux and the former Dearise Doiga.
She is survived by two sons, Elwood Richard and wife Betty of Cankton, LA and Harold Richard and wife Judy of Church Point; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kermin Richard; one daughter, Betty LeBlanc; one sister, Enola Howe and one brother, Earlin Gautreaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Sunday, May 15 from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 pm and continue on Monday from 8:00 am until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home Sunday evening at 7:00 pm.
