Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 14,2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point, La. For Mrs. Dallas Matte the former Mary A. Matte, 70 who died Sunday March 11,2007 at 1:12 A.M. at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas, La. She was born Sept. 17, 1936 in Church Point, La.
Interment will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Church Point, La. Fr. Blair-Lope Sabaricos will conduct the services.

Survivors include her husband Dallas Matte of Church Point, La., three sons; Brian Matte of Denver, Colorado, Donald Matte and his wife Mary of Denver, Colorado, Keith Matte of Foley, Alabama, ,one daughter, Phyllis Kline and her husband Daniel of Denver, Colorado, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren , three brothers; Allen Matte of Lafayette, La.,Gerald Matte of Youngsville, La., Zena Matte Jr. of Rayne, La., one sister, Emma Meaux of Crowley, La.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 225 Auxillary in Church Point, La., V.F.W. Post 9903 Auxillary in Church Point, La. and a member of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society in Church Point, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zena Matte Sr, and Zola Daigle Matte, two brothers; John and Hubert Matte

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. Tuesday March 13,2007 until 9:00 P.M. , and continue from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday March 14,2007 until time of services at 1:00 P.M.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday March 13,2007 at 7:00 P.M.
