Church Point, LA:     A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Mary L. Richard, 72, the former Mary Lee LeDoux. Mrs. Richard, a long-time resident of Church Point, died Monday, morning, March 4 at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Pastor Heather Ardoin will conduct the service with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam LeJeune and husband Andrew and April LaFleur-all of Church Point; a son, Kirt Richard and wife Raquel of Church Point; four grandchildren: Allison Sweeney and husband Ryan, Lane and Nick Richard and Joelee LaFleur; a great-grandchild, Edith Sweeney; a sister, Kathy Lanclos and husband Jerry of Leonville, LA and a brother, Raymond LeDoux and wife Brenda of Church Point. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Leola Daigle LeDoux; her husband, Elvin Richard and two grandchildren, Kanon and Katie LeJeune.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5 and continue from 8:00 AM Wednesday until the time of services.

Mrs. Richard was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Guidry Funeral Home, Inc.; 219 N. Broadway, Church Point, LA.
