Church Point, LA:         A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the St. John Catholic Chapel in Lewisburg, LA for Mary Eura Guidry, 89, the former Mary Eura Godeaux. Mrs. Guidry, a long-time resident of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday morning, April 21 at her current residence near Church Point, LA. Reverend Patrick Broussard, Pastor, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the committal services in the St. John Cemetery adjacent to the chapel.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Guidry of Church Point; her sisters, Hazel Carriere and husband Bob and Betty Trahan and husband Cleve-all of Opelousas, LA; three grandchildren: Nathan Boudreaux and wife Lisa of Eunice, LA and Stephanie Aguillard and husband Jody and Mia Dominguez and husband Jesus "Chuy" Dominguez-all of Church Point; nine great-grandchildren: Spc. Haven Dominguez and Dontae, Izaiah and Andria Dominguez; Dylan, Destiny and Slade Stelly and Hannah and Joshua Boudreaux and a great-great-grandchild expected in September who will be named Brynlea Dominguez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Amerite "Amy" Carriere Godeaux and her husband, Wilbur Lee Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM on Saturday, April 24 and continue on Thursday, April 29 from 10:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 PM Saturday by Deacon Bryne Winn. Mrs. Guidry and her husband owned and operated "Guidry's Friendly Lounge" in Lewisburg for some thirty-five years. Truly loved, she will truly be missed by her extended family and friends.
