Church Point, LA: Mary Linda Delahoussaye Williams, 79, died December 23, 2017 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge. She was born on August 1, 1938, the oldest daughter of Gabriel "Cabby" and Marjorie "Polly" Barousse Delahoussaye. Linda received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy from Southwestern Louisiana Institute (now UL-L), and worked for Cerebral Palsy Association in Opelousas. She also worked for St. Landry School Board and retired from Lafayette Parish School Board in the 1990s. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John, her grandchildren Adam Wayne Corbett and Caroline Corbett, and her brothers Wade "Bubba" Delahoussaye and Link Delahoussaye. She is survived by her children, Marjorie (Mark) Willow of St. Clairsville, OH; Annie (Ronnie) Corbett of Baton Rouge; Paul (Chrissy) Williams of Mandeville; Denise Robichaux of Church Point; Rita (Chuck) Dowling of Prairieville, and her grandchildren: Tim LeBlanc and Katelyn Williams of New Orleans; Emily (Devan) Moody and Molly Corbett of Baton Rouge; Brendan Ryan of St. Clairsville; Gabbie and Will Robichaux of Lafayette; and Maddie, Charlie, Mike and Anna Rose Dowling of Prairieville. She is also survived by her sisters Zella (Jim) Walsh of Buford, GA; Ann (Jim) Ward of Ruidoso, NM: and, Rose (Jeff) Blowers of Fort Worth, TX. Visitation will be at Guidry Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26 and on Wednesday, December 27 from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral at 10:30 a.m. The rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday. A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point. Pallbearers will include the five grandsons.
