Church Point, LA:   Memorial Funeral Services will be held at a later date for Ms. Mary Grace Comeaux, 67, who passed away at 6:39 AM Friday, February 28, 2025, at her residence in Church Point.

Mary, a resident of Church Point, LA, was the daughter of the late Evans J. Delcambre and the former Vivian Bush. She was a cherished member of the Living Word Tabernacle Church in Branch, LA and was known for her warm and welcoming nature, never meeting a stranger she didn't instantly befriend. Her love for animals, especially monkeys, was well-known and her generous spirit was unmatched—if you needed something, Mary would give it to you without hesitation. Everyone adored her for her kindness and her lively personality, earning her the affectionate nickname "Crazy Mary." She valued accountability and was a diligent worker, always putting in her best effort. Mary's vibrant spirit and giving heart made her a beloved figure in her community.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Madison Delcambre; her sisters, Theresa Fruge and Frances Hammond; her brothers, Patrick, Lester, John, Martin and Edward Delcambre; her grandchildren: Candace Lee, Kyle, Kael and Kade Delcambre, Knadia Briggs, Amy Stanford, Lonna and Will Clayton, Lonnie Richard, Dana Lavergne, Joey Comeaux, Jenea Barousse, Brandy Henry, Jamie Tate and Michelle and Brian Comeaux; her great-grandchildren, Julia Hale and Tate Clayton and her husband's children, Paul Comeaux, Jr., Joe Comeaux and Elaine Richard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Harry Comeaux; her husband's son, Kelly Comeaux; her parents; one grandchild, Kyla Marie Delcambre; two sisters, Vivian Smith and Patricia Young and her brothers, Evans A. Delcambre and Philip Delcambre.
