Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Martha Jane Hebert, 79, the former Martha Jane Matte. Mrs. Hebert, a native of Church Point, died Friday morning, December 29 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, LA. Father Brian Harrington, Pastor of the Church, will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her daughters: Monique Thibodeaux and husband Michael of Lafayette, LA, Gidget LeJeune and husband Chad of Church Point and Rachelle Treece of Richard, LA;  a son, Lark Hebert and wife Lisa of Ragley, LA; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moralis and Lillian Benoit Matte and her husband, Allen Ray Hebert.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM Tuesday until the time of services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 10:00 AM by Deacon Byrne Winn. Pallbearers will be Jamison, Jonathon and Michael Thibodeaux; Bryce Hebert, Cody Israel and Chad LeJeune.
