Church Point, LA:    Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Guidry Funeral Home for Mrs. Marla Castille Trahan, 67, who passed away at 11:03 PM Thursday, January 2 in Rayne, LA. Deacon Byrne Winn will conduct the Funeral Services and recite the Rosary after the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM Saturday evening.

Marla was the daughter of the late John Roderick Castille and the former Mary Lee Higginbotham.
She is survived by her three daughters, Rachel Benoit and husband Dwayne of Rayne, LA, Michelle Dumas and husband Matt of Duson, LA and Simone Trahan and husband Steven of Duson; seven grandchildren: Kellie Bilyeu, Landon Benoit, Ryan and Greyson Dumas, Mikal Trahan, Jayden and Alyssa Breaux; three great-grandchildren, Sofia, Isabella and Amelia Bilyeu; one sister, Lisa Azizi and husband Zee of Lafayette, LA and one brother, Kevin Castille of Church Point. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Philip Trahan and one brother, Duane Castille.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 PM and visitation will continue after the service until 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM.

The family would like to express a special thank you to her caregivers, Aunts Priscilla Credeur and Judy Castille Saucier and Mariyah "Angel" Coleman. They would also like to say thank you to Hospice of Acadiana for the care that they administered to their mother, grandmother and sister.
