Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for David Mark Miller, 41. Mr. Miller, a native of Pitreville near Church Point and currently a resident of Broussard, La., died Thanksgiving morning, November 26 at his residence. Deacon Bryne Winn will conduct the services with entombment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Mausoleum on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Larry and Mary Helen Miller of Pitreville; his mother, Gloria Miller of Opelousas, La.; two brothers, Richard Miller of Baton Rouge, La. and Jefferey Miller and wife Shanna of Carencro, La.; two stepsisters, Laura Lappe and husband Doug and April LeLeux-all of Lubbock, Tex.; two "special friends", Chad Smith of Carencro and Sarah Cormier of Church Point and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Smith, Richard and Jefferey Miller, John Medlin, Troy Kidder and Jason Mejias with Felton Bellard, Jr. as honorary pallbearer.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services.

"Mark was never married but he leaves behind hundreds of friends. Every person who came in contact with him will forever be a better person. He loved everyone and showed no partiality to anyone in regards to race, financial status, nor religion. He was one of a kind and can best be described as easy as a Friday afternoon at 2:30."
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the ASPCA.
