Church Point, LA Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 4, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mark Anthony Hale, 43. Mr. Hale, a long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday Morning, September 1 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, LA. Monsignor will conduct the services with interment at a later date in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include two sons, Noah and Liam Hale of Church Point; his brothers, Timothy Hale and wife Nancy of Scott, LA, Morgan Hale of Church Point and Johnny Hale and wife Glenda "Sissy" Hale of Flowery Branch, GA and two sisters, Cathy Jeanis and husband Bedford of Church Point and Barbara Hayes and husband David of Flowery Branch. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hale, Jr. and Alba Romano Hale.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Sunday, September 3 and continue from 8:00 AM Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 PM Sunday. Mr. Hale was a self-employed painter in the area for a number of years.
