Church Point, LA:     A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Marie Jagneaux, 88, the former Marie Berdie Thibodeaux. Ms. Jagneaux, a native of Cankton, LA and resident of rural Acadia Parish, died Thursday morning, November 13 at her residence. Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, November 15 and continue from 9:00 AM Sunday until the time of the Service. Pastor Brian Johnston will conduct the Service with Interment immediately following in Bellevue Memorial Park; Hwy 182, Opelousas, LA.

Survivors include her caregiver and companion of 25 years, Fred Castille; her daughters, Charlotte Jagneaux and Pam "Aunt Pammie" Andrepont and husband Bryan-all of Church Point; her grandchildren; Elizabeth Arceneaux and Patrick Westrup, Cade Fontenot and wife Erin, Alicia Patout and husband Justin, Millie Johnston and husband Bobby, Blake Andrepont and wife Courtney and Brent Andrepont and wife Sarah; numerous great-grandchildren and a sister, Belinda Chaisson and brother, Charles Thibodeaux, Jr.-both of Cankton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry John Jagneaux; her parents, Charles Thibodeaux, Sr. and Odite Melancon Thibodeaux; two brothers, L.J. and Curney Thibodeaux and a sister, Eva Mae Begnaud.

A hairdresser for a number of years; Mrs. Jagneaux was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and traveling to the Smoky Mountains for hiking with her companion, Fred. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her.
