Church Point, LA Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Bridgette Catholic Church in Lawtell, LA for Mrs. Marie Eula Faul, 88, who passed away at 10:35 AM Thursday, September 7 at Opelousas General Medical Center. Fr. Austin Leger will be the Celebrant of the Mass with burial immediately following in St. Bridgette Cemetery adjacent to the church.
Marie, a resident of Lawtell, was the daughter of the late Noah Kady and the former Cecile Comeaux.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Doucet and husband Richard of Church Point and Patricia Goble and husband Harley of Huntsville, AL; one son, Robert 'Mike' Faul and wife Peggy of Lawtell; eight grandchildren, Richie and Kim Doucet, Kyle Goble, Katie Young, Troy Doucet, Mandy Faul, Chris Faul and Lainey Faul; eighteen great grandchildren and one sister, Theresa Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lydia Brasseaux and Emmadine Soileau and the father of her children, Jack Faul.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9 from 9:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 12:00 pm on Saturday prior to leaving for the funeral services.
