Church Point, La.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Marcus Dwayne Guidry, 58. Mr. Guidry, a native and life-long resident of Church Point, died at 4:30 P.M. Thursday, November 14 at his residence. Father Stephen Ugwu will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include a daughter, Brooke Megan Guidry of Crowley, La. and two brothers and a sister, Curley Joseph Guidry III and wife Annette, Richard Leonard Guidry and wife Veronica and Melissa Higginbotham and husband Tommy-all of Church Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curley Joseph, Jr. and Emma Vidrine Guidry and a brother, Kevin Guidry.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the service. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 1:15 P.M. by Father Ugwu.
