Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 8, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Mabel R. Miller, 101, the former Mabel Revette. Mrs. Miller, a native of Bristol, La. and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 5, 2010 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital, Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.

Survivors include a son, Michael Miller and wife Iris Doucet; two daughters, Shirley Olivier and husband Eurdley and Deanny Richard and husband Linus-all of Church Point; a sister, Elmae Bourgeois of Carencro, La.; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland "Choke" Miller; two sons, Ronald and Errol "Bubba" Miller and a brother, Lawrence Revette.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
