Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Mabel F. Dies, the former Mabel Faul. Mrs. Dies died at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas at 2:35 A.M., Monday, July 30, 2007. The deceased was a native and life-long resident of Church Point. Father Jeff Deblanc will conduct the services. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include four daughters: Shirley Johnston and husband Steve of Carencro, Linda Vidrine and husband Jessie of Lafayette, Brenda Lanclow and husband Larry of Eunice and Martha Savant and husband Bob of Eunice; three brothers: Reivers Faul & Clinton Faul both of Church Point & Valmont Faul, Jr. of Eunice; four sisters: Mavis Douga of Church Point, Eva Jean Miller of Nederland, Texas, Leira Porche and Evelyn Huval both of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The deceased was preceded in death by her husband Curley Dies, five brothers; Maurice Faul, Emery "Black" Faul, Gurvais Faul, R.A. Faul and Gilbert Faul. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Emma Bellard and Theresa Briscoe.

Pallbearers will be Steve Johnston, Danny Vidrine, Joey Vidrine, Joe
Lanclow, Corey Savant, Donald Johnston and Kyle Savant.

The family has requested that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 PM until the time of services Tuesday.

The Rosary will be recited by Fr. Jeff Deblanc at 7:00 PM Monday.
