Church Point, LA:   Father Patrick Broussard, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will officiate at Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Lynius Joseph Menard, 57. Mr. Menard, a long-time resident of Church Point, died Monday, June 24 while employed off the coast of Louisiana. Disposition will be handled by family at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Sue Daigle Menard of Church Point; his parents, Carroll and Savannah LeBlanc Menard of Carencro, LA; a son, Jeremy Rock Menard of Church Point; a brother, Scotty Menard and wife Yvonne of Carencro; a sister, Dana Dalfrey and husband Corey of Tomball, TX and his grandchildren, Sage, Noah and Kadence "Tutti" Menard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 12:30 P.M. Saturday.

A production foreman in the exploration and production of oil and gas in the coastal areas of Louisiana, Mr. Menard was truly loved and respected by his extended family, friends, and fellow workers. The Daigle family regarded him as a "true son and brother". He will truly be missed.
