Church Point, LA A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. John Chapel in Lewisburg, LA for Luc Mathieu Thibodeaux, 21, who passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:05 am.
Msgr. Jefferson J. Deblanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Luc, a resident of Church Point, was the son of Mr. Bart Thibodeaux and Mrs. Wendy Gros Thibodeaux.
He is survived by his parents; his daughter, Blaiklynn Hayes Thibodeaux of Church Point; his girlfriend, Brittani Olivier of Church Point; two sisters, Sylvie Baquet and husband Brandon of Fordoche, LA and Elise Thibodeaux of Church Point; his niece, who was his Godchild, Sophie Baquet; his nephew, Jacques Bacquet; his maternal grandparents, Willie and Janet Mobile Gros of Fordoche, LA; and his paternal grandparents, Ken and Norma Sonnier Thibodeaux of Church Point.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on, Friday, May 12, 2017 from 8:00 am until the time of services. A rosary will be recited prior to leaving for church at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
Luc loved his little girl, Blaiklynn. He was a hard worker who was always committed to his work fully. He loved riding four-wheelers and his side-by-side. Luc loved his family with all of his heart. His family will miss him dearly. He was a loving son, father and brother.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Bacquet, Ronald Bearb, Jr., Danny Doucet, Troy Thibodeaux, Tyler Thibodeaux and Pat Bellard.
