Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Louis "Baby" Guilbeau, 77. Mr. Guilbeau, a native and life-long resident of Church Point, died at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery, Church Point.

Survivors include his caretakers, Cecil and Vickie Miller of Broussard, La. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille and Pearl (Miller) Guilbeau; a brother, Frederick Guilbeau and three sisters: Mildred Brooks, Florida Guilbeau and Mary "Sis" Guilbeau.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 12 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday by Monsignor DeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Cecil and Chris Miller, Leroy and Stacy Miguez, Darrin Richard and Francis Shore with Derrick Latiolais as honorary pallbearer.
