Church Point, LA:     A Private Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Loretta Savoy Thibodeaux, 81, who passed away at 9:53 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Opelousas General Medical Center in Opelousas, LA.

Loretta, a life-long resident of Church Point, was the daughter of the late Stanley Doucet and the former Odile Babineaux. A loving wife, mother and grandmother; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life. She loved playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Aurelien Thibodeaux of Church Point; one daughter, Melanie S. Richard and husband John P. of Church Point; one son, Douglas N. Savoy and wife Susan of Branch, LA; three grandchildren, Lexi Lejeune of Church Point, Cameron Savoy of Kaplan, LA and Evan Savoy of Branch; four great-grandchildren: Eliza Lejeune, Coast Savoy, Mason Savoy and Ella Jane Lejeune; one sister, Judy Colligan of Nashville, TN and two brothers, Elton Doucet of Richard, LA and Herbert Doucet of Gonzales, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ray Allen Doucet.
