Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Loretta Domingue, 81, the former Loretta Boudreaux. Mrs. Domingue, a native and long-time resident of Lewisburg, La., died at 11:45 A.M., Monday, May 20 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery adjacent to the church.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Domingue and wife Nancy of Judice, La. and David Domingue and wife Geralyn of Lewisburg; a daughter, Catherine Chauvin of Lafayette; a brother, Geoffery Boudreaux and wife Lucille of Lewisburg; a sister, Delores Lafleur of Metairie, La.; four grandchildren: Holly Leblanc and husband Charles Edward Leblanc III, Sarah Domingue, Amber Trett and husband Drew and Abby Domingue and two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Finley Trett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Domingue; her parents, Sidney and Katherine (Gay) Boudreaux and a brother-in-law, Charles Lafleur.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
Mrs. Domingue retired as Cafeteria Manager at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, La. in 2004 with some thirty-two years of service.
