Loretta June Chandler's Obituary
Church Point, La.
Graveside Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in the United Methodist Church of Church Point cemetery for Loretta June Chandler, 85, the former Loretta June Goss. Mrs. Chandler was a native of Olansville, Indiana and a long-time resident of Church Point while her husband was prominent in the management of the local Canal Refining facility. She died at 5:20 P.M. on December 25 at Lakeview Hospital; Covington, La. Reverend Wayne Howington conducted the services with interment immediately following.
Survivors include a son, Robert Chandler of Mandeville, La.; a daughter, Julia Harghber of Republic, Wash.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.F. "Jim" Chandler and a son, James Chandler.
Mrs. Chandler will be remembered as a long-time member of the United Methodist Church.
