Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Guidry Funeral Home, Church Point for Lima Duplechin Lavergne, 73, the former Lima Duplechin. Mrs. Lavergne, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 22 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center; Lafayette, La. Father Austin Leger will conduct the services with entombment following in the St. John Berchmans Mausoleum in Cankton, La.
She is survived by two brothers, Linus and Harry Duplechin of Church Point.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Lavergne.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday by Father Leger.
