Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Our lady of the Sacred Heart catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Letha D. Seaux, 75, the former Letha Mae Doucet. Mrs. Seaux, a native of Church Point and long-time resident of Lafayette, La., died at 10:45 A.M. Saturday, October 18 at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with entombment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum adjacent to the Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Wilbert Doucet and wife Minnie of Groves, Tex. and Etienne Doucet, Jr. of Church Point; two sisters, Lelia Doucet of Carencro, La. and Shirley Kidder of Church Point; two grandchildren, Jonathon and Desiree Seaux and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Seaux; her parents, Etienne Doucet, Sr. and Edna (Venable) Doucet; a son, Carl Seaux; a sister, Gladys Schexnayder; and three brothers: Villa Joe, Vilfray and Sidney Doucet.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.on Sunday, October 19 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Sunday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
