Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point for Letha Labbie, 92, the former Letha Olivier. Mrs. Labbie, a native of Church Point, and one-time resident of Galveston, Tex., died at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 1 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Pastor Berl Adams will conduct the services with interment following in the First Baptist Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Labbie and her parents, Armogene and Elise Daigle Olivier.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of the services.

Mrs. Labbie, a devout member of the First Baptist Church for many years, was a homemaker who loved working in her yard and caring for her cat. She will be truly missed by her family.
