Church Point, LA: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 31, 2018 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Lessie Lena Brasseaux, 88. Ms. Brasseaux, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Saturday evening, December 29 at her residence. Pastor Steve Horn of First Baptist Church in Lafayette, LA will conduct the services and interment will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survived by a number of nieces and nephews, Ms. Brasseaux was preceded in death by her parents, Marius and Elene Labbie Brasseaux and twelve siblings.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday December 30 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services.

An optician for a number of years, Ms. Brasseaux was truly loved and will be missed by her extended family and friends.
