Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for LeRoy Thibodeaux, 88. Mr. Thibodeaux,, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 2:50 A.M. Thursday, December 27 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery adjacent to the church.

Survivors include a brother, Velton Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, La. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sauille and Theolise (Dies) Thibodeaux; two sisters, Hilda Leger and Ida T. Faul and two brothers, Burchman and Horace Thibodeaux.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, December 28 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday by Monsignor DeBlanc.

A Life Member of Knights of Columbus Council 2504, he was proudest of becoming a Fourth Degree Knight.
