Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Louis Leo Seaux, 82. Mr. Seaux, a native of Bosco, La. and long-time resident of Crowley, La., died Tuesday night, March 3 at his residence. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery adjacent to the church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Savoy Seaux of Crowley; three daughters, Mary Seaux Miller, Judy Ann Seaux Cruth and husband James and Ella Mae Seaux Kidder and husband Michael-all of Crowley; a brother, Jean Leeman Seaux and wife Margie and a sister, Bertha Seaux-all of Crowley; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louisa Cormier Seaux; a daughter, Linda Gayle Seaux and a granddaughter, Madison Paige Kidder.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 5 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday by Deacon Bryne Winn.
Pallbearers will be Michael and Nicholas Kidder, Joseph Morgan, Wade and Raymond Seaux and Coty LeJeune. Honorary pallbearers will be Jean Leeman and James Seaux.
The family wishes to thank Acadia Home Health and Southern Care Hospice for their compassionate care.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War Era, Mr. Seaux was an usher at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley for many years. He will be honored with a Flag presentation Ceremony at the time of services.
