Church Point, LA Funeral services will be held at a later date for Mrs. Lela C. Cary, 91, who passed away at 10:45 AM Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA. Burial will take place in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cary, a resident of Church Point, LA, was the daughter of the late Philbert Cormier and the former Mrs. Delia Richard Cormier .
She is survived by one daughter, Janice C. McKnight and husband John of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Theo Cormier of Church Point; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, J.C. Cary and her twelve brothers and sisters.
