Church Point, LA:     Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Lee Etta Thibodeaux, 95, the former Theresa Lee Etta Olivier. Mrs. Thibodeaux, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died Wednesday evening, August 28 at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing and Rehab Center. Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of the Church, will conduct the Services with Entombment immediately following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Hwy 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn T. Dohmann and husband Wayne of Church Point and Phyllis T. Krebs and husband August of Lafayette, LA; her grandchildren: Erich Dohmann of Church Point, Dana Russell and husband Jamey of Kalaheo, Kauai, HI and Sybil Nasser and Wajeeh E. Nasser, M.D., of Boise, ID and her great-grandchildren, Logan Dohmann and Harlow Nasser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Dewey and Hilda Satler Olivier; the father of her children, Harold Thibodeaux; her twin brother, Leroy Olivier and her sisters, Eldine Vanicor and Betty Lavergne.

Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM Saturday until the time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 PM by Deacon Byrne Winn. The owner-operator of Wanda's Car Wash in Church Point for a number of years; Mrs. Thibodeaux was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Truly loved, she will be missed by all who knew her.
