Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, December 10, 2012 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Lawrence Harold Hollier, 72. Mr. Hollier, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 7:35 P.M. Thursday, December 6 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the St. Edward Cemetery adjacent to St. Edward Church in Richard, La.
Survivors include a son, Carl Hollier and wife Tammy of Crowley, La.; a daughter, Melinda Ann Thibodeaux of Church Point; a brother, Warren Hollier of Church Point; his grandchildren: Candice Hunt, Bethany Hollier, Amelia Lyons, Mary Margaret "Maggie" Thibodeaux, Miguel Labbie and Vincent, Janie, and Ashley Doucet and his great-grandchildren: Aiden Vazquez, Alayah Duplechin and Robert Doucet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus and Edmae (Matte) Hollier and his wife, Dorothy (Thibodeaux) Hollier.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 9 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
