Rayne, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Rayne Baptist Church; Rayne, La. for Laura Marie Bordelon, 54. Ms. Bordelon, a life-long resident of Rayne, died at 11:30 P.M. Saturday, January 16 at Rayne Guest home. Pastor Claude Fontenot will conduct the services with interment following in the St. Joseph's Mausoleum in Rayne.

Survivors include three brothers: Marcus Douglas Bordelon and wife Jackie of Rayne, La., Marvin Steve Bordelon and wife Carolyn of Houston, Texas and Michael Jerome Bordelon and wife JoAnne of Houma, La.; a brother-in-law, I.J. Burson of Eunice, La.; her "adopted" families- Patsy and Baday Guidry and family and Janice Doucet and family as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus A. Bordelon, Sr. and Marguerite Masson Bordelon and a sister, Myra B. Burson.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 17 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services.

Ms. Bordelon was a client and employee of LARC and the Alleman Center; Lafayette, La. for thirty years and a member of Rayne Baptist Church and the Catholic Daughters of St. Joseph's Church in Rayne.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to LARC; Lafayette, La.
