She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Fannie Breaux Montelaro; a brother, Van Montelaro and an infant sister, Loretta Montelaro. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 27 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Thursday by Monsignor DeBlanc. "Nana", as most people knew her, was a faith-filled woman who loved life and was the kindest woman who never met a stranger. Her grandkids were her pride and joy; most of the time having one in tow with her. Whether a football game, baseball or dancing, "Nana" was there because she was their biggest fan. She enjoyed getting together with friends and family to say the rosary and her favorite pastime was sitting on the swing watching the grandkids play and feeding her beloved chickens. As "Nana" would say, "Keep the Faith".
