Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July1, 2015 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Kimmerly Joan "Kim" McBride, 61. Ms. McBride, a life-long resident of Church Point, died Sunday afternoon, June 28 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with entombment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include her parents, Robert "Bob" McBride and Dean Huckaby McBride of Church Point; a brother, Mike McBride and wife Sandra of Katy, Tex.; three sisters, Jan Mayronne and husband Thomas of Covington, La., Jill Myers and husband Philip of Church Point and Dana Sexauer and husband Matt of Franklin, Tenn. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday by Seminarian Cade LeBlanc.
