Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, October 1, 2012 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La. for Kevin Guidry, 52. Mr. Guidry, a native and life-long resident of Church Point, died at 10:35 P.M. Friday, September 28 at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include a son and daughter, Seth Guidry and Torie Guidry, of Lafayette, La.; three brothers: Curley Guidry III and wife Annette, Dwayne Guidry and Richard Guidry and wife Veronica-all of Church Point; a sister, Melissa Higginbotham and husband Thomas of Church Point; two grandchildren, Zeke Guidry and Jax Maceaux and a very special friend, Bruce Daigle of Church Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curley, Jr. and Emma (Vidrine) Guidry and his grandparents, Curley, Sr. and Vernice (Guillory) Guidry.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 30 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
