Funeral Services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Kearney Nicholas Richard, who died at 1:15 P.M. on Sunday, August 5, 2007 in Church Point. Father Blair Lope-Sabaricos conducted the services. Interment was in the Monsignor C. A. Bienvenu Cemetery; Highway 35, Church Point, La.

Survivors include his mother, Delaine A. Richard of Church Point, La.; a daughter, Jade Lela Adele Richard of Prairie Ronde, La.; his paternal grandfather, J.B. Richard of Church Point, La. and his maternal grandfather, J.A. Andrus of Lafayette, La.
The deceased was preceded in death by his father, Dillard "Dale" Richard; his brother, Brooks Richard; his paternal grandmother, Elmire Matte Richard and his maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Andrus.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Monday and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.

Rosary was recited on Monday at 7:30 P.M.
