Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Kathleen Ann Lyons, 51, the former Kathleen Ann Ponthier. Mrs. Lyons, a native and long-time resident of Eunice, La., died Tuesday, June 3 at her residence. Pastor Don Labro of Victory Life Church will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include her mother, Gladys Sebastien Ponthier of Eunice; a daughter, Tessa Lynn Lyons of Eunice; two sons, Karl G. Lyons, Jr. and wife D'Adrea of Opelousas, La. and Dustin Ray Lyons of Church Point; two sisters, Abigail Courville and husband Chris and Vanessa Ponthier-all of Eunice; three brothers, Kenneth Ponthier and wife Debra of Swords, La. and Michael Ponthier and wife Patricia and Bobby Gene Ponthier-all of Eunice-and two grandchildren, Morgan Theresa Bundrick and Karlee Grace Lyons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Ray Ponthier; her former husband, Karl Gene Lyons, Sr. and a sister-in-law, Helen Ponthier.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 5 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Friday until the time of the services.

"Mee-Maw", as Mrs. Lyons was known to her family, was a beloved mom and grandmother.
