Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Church Point, La. for Mrs. Edmond (Judy) Duthile, the former Judy Doucet, who died at 6:18 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at her residence in Crowley, La. She was a native of Church Point. Father Matthew Higginbotham will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Highway 35, Church Point.

Survivors include her mother, Ella Mae Doucet of Church Point, La.; her husband, Edmond Duthile of Crowley, La.; a stepson, Edmond M. Duthile and a stepdaughter, Allison D. Thibodeaux and husband Mark- all of Lafayette, La.; two brothers: Rodney J. Doucet and wife Carleen and Bryant L. Doucet and wife Sheila; two sisters: Margaret Bellard and husband Archie and Rhonda Doucet and Pat Daigle- all of Church Point, La.; 8 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Zachary Doucet; her maternal grandparents, Johnny and Alice Duplechin Elkins and her paternal grandparents, Laurent and Theophine LeBoeuf Doucet.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 13 and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Mrs. Duthile was a member of the Ladies Altar Society of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley, a member of the Crowley Bereavement Community, a Crowley Christian Care Charity Organization volunteer and a former "Pink Lady" in Crowley.
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. by Fr. Jefferson J. DeBlanc.
