Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at The Church Point Pentecostals Church in Church Point, La. for Joseph "Pete" Winn, 80. Mr. Winn, a native and long-time resident of Bristol, La., died early Sunday morning at his residence. Pastor Rick Pavlu will conduct the services with interment following in the Evangeline Cemetery in Evangeline, La.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron Winn and wife Donna of Virginia Beach, Va. and Marvin Winn and wife Cindy of Bristol; two sisters, Barbara Winn of Bristol and Cora Smith of Crowley, La.; his grandchildren: Geovhonni, Allyssa and Frankie Winn, Joe Arriola, Alison Houston, Tina Thorpe and Terri Moser and his great-grandchildren; Lloyd Ghant, Marcus Thorpe and Elias Winn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Hebert Winn and his wife, Roberta Winn.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at the Church from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, February 20 and continue from 10:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Winn will be honored with a Flag Presentation Ceremony at the time of services.
