Joseph Louis Venable's Obituary
Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Joseph "Louis" Venable, 61, who passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 8:30 AM at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point.
Burial will take place in St. John Berchman Cemetery in Cankton, LA.
Louis, a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Eddie Venable, Sr. and the former Electa Cormier.
He is survived by two sisters, Edna Bernard and husband Harry Lee of Carencro, LA and Eva Mae Cushman of Eunice, LA; three brothers, Raphael Venable and wife DeAnna of Carencro, Ricky Venable of Carencro and Eddie Venable, Jr. of Bristol, LA; his significant other, Ramona Meche of Church Point; numerous nieces and nephews (especially Sue Venable and husband Albert Venable, Jr.) and a great friend, Foy Credeur.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Early Venable, C.A. Venable, Jimmy Venable, Leslie Venable and Randy Venable and two great-nieces, Kathleen Flyte and Taylor Richard.
