Joseph Roy Miller's Obituary
Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 16, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Joseph Roy Miller, 67. Mr. Miller, a native and long-time resident of Church Point, died at 11:50 P.M. Friday, August 13 at his residence. Following services, entombment will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum on Highway 35 north of Church Point.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Godeaux Miller of Church Point; a son, Kirk Miller of Church Point; a daughter, Lisa Miller Joubert of Abbeville, La.; two sisters, Mary Duplechain of Church Point and Olivia Manuel of Mamou, La.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Anastasia Bourgeois Miller; his daughter, Catherine Miller and his brother, Herbert Miller.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 15 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday by Monsignor Jeff DeBlanc.
