Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2007 at St. John Chapel in Lewisburg, La. for Leander Thibodeaux,72, who died at 6:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18,2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, La. Mr. Thibodeaux was a life-long resident and native of Church Point, La.
Interment will be in the St. John Cemetrery in Lewisburg, La. and Fr. Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services.
Survivors include: His wife, Bernella Doucet Thibodeaux of Church Point,La.; one son, Kent Thibodeaux and his wife Vickie of Church Point, La.; two daughters: Jean - Claire Thibodeaux and Donna Chachere and husband Guy all of Church Point, La.; a special niece, Diane Labbe of Church Point, La.; eight grandchildren: Jasper and Eddie Bearb, Britney Richard, Dexter and Derrick Thibodeaux and Seth, Spencer, and Macy Joe Thibodeaux; three great-grandchildren: Devon and Eddie Paul Bearb and Lailah Richard; one brother, Darrel Thibodeaux of Church Point, La. and a sister, Rena Wilks of Church Point, La.
Mr. Thibodeaux retired after 36 years of service at Acadia- St. Landry Hospital in Church Point, La.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00A.M. until 10:00 P.M. Sunday August 19, 2007 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Monday August 20, 2007 until time of services.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday August 19, 2007 at 7:30 P.M.
