Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 22, 2013 at St. Edmond Catholic Church in Branch, La. for Joseph Clarence "J.C." Bourque, 73. Mr. Bourque, a native of Church Point and long-time resident of Branch, died at 10:15 A.M. Sunday, October 20 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La. Father Paul Broussard will conduct the services with interment following in the cemetery adjacent to the church.

Survivors include his sons, Anthony "Tony" Bourque and Jody Bourque of Branch; a granddaughter, Ashlie Menard and husband Ryan of Sunset, La.; a great-grandson, Wyatt Menard and four sisters: Verlie Sonnier of Lafayette, La., Judy Royer of Cankton, La., Sue Dartez of Duson, La. and Ruth Anderson of Orange, Tex.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elric Bourque and Anna Lavergne Dugas and his wife, Margie Rosa Meche Bourque.
