Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church In Church Point, La. for Johnny Lee Francis, Sr., 57. Mr. Francis, a native of Sunset, La. and currently residing in Church Point, died at 2:55 P.M. Friday, June 3 at Eunice Manor in Eunice, La. Visitation will be held from 7:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point. Precious and lasting memories will be cherished and shared by everyone who knew and loved him-especially his loving wife, Julia Guillory-Francis of Church Point; his ex-wife Shirley Lewis of Opelousas, La.; his children: Felicia Reddick (Gerald) of Fort Hood, Tex., Nina DuPont (Michael) and Gabriel Francis (Henrietta)-all of Church Point, Cynthia Robinson (Anthony) and Johnny Francis, Jr. (Sheletta)-all of Opelousas, La., Immaculate Sennet (Marvin) and Joseph Guillory (Blanca)-all of Dallas, Tex.; his brother and sisters: Velma Moten of Opelousas, Hazel Lewis (Melvin) and Katie Francis (Charles)-all of Sunset, La., Irene Gardiner (Harrison), Bernice Green (Donald Sr.) and Ella Taylor-all of Beaumont, Tex., Peter Francis (Gloria) of Carencro and Paul Francis (Lorraine) of Opelousas; nineteen grandchildren, two great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazely Francis and Effie Wright-Francis; two brothers, Willie Lee Francis and Jimmy Lee Francis and two nephews, Thaddeus Francis and Paul Francis, Jr.
