He maintained many of those customers' trust far after he retired to become the full-time, loving caregiver to Del during her battle with cancer.
After her death, he began sharing his strong, life-long Catholic faith that began as a young altar boy at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point. He became a Eucharistic minister at Lafayette General Medical Center, Courtyard Manor Assisted Living and St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
