Church Point, La.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for John Roderick Castille,74. Mr. Castille, a native and lifelong resident of Church Point, died at 6:25 A.M. Monday, April 19, 2010 at The Heart Hospital of Acadiana in Lafayette. Monsignor Jefferson DeBlanc will conduct the services with entombment following in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Highway 35, Church Point.
Mr. Castille is survived by two sons, Duane Castille of Baton Rouge and Kevin Castille of Church Point and two daughters, Marla Trahan and husband Phillip of Duson and Lisa Azizi and husband Zee of Lafayette. Also surviving is one brother, Harold Castille of Opelousas,; two sisters, Elsie Pitre of Opelousas and Judy Saucier of Minneapolis, Minnesota; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee (Higginbotham) Castille; his parents, A.B. and Josephine (LeBleu) Castille; two brothers, Francis and Patrick Castille; two sisters, Earline C. Delano and Linda C. Foux and one grandson, Steven Castille.
A recitation of the rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday.
